Toughest job I've tackled with this saw was cutting a 5" diameter tree root. It was a fight but the saw eventually won. I'm a serious DIY'er and this saw is good enough to be my only recip. It will replace my Porter Cable corded saw. If I were a professional doing frequent demo work, I'd probably keep a corded saw for the bigger jobs but keep this cordless on backup for quick runs from the truck, running up on the roof, crawling under houses, etc. I love the ability to change blade orientation 4 ways. And these new 20V Max batteries are a breeze to swap out.

Best Reciprocating saw I've owned yet. This saw has the guts to chew through some wood and metal. I've had other saws with quick release blades, most of them broke or jam after a while. This one is ease to use and works great. We've put them through some heavy use and can not come up with a complaint, which for my guys is says a lot. Dewalt is doing something right with this 20volt line of tools.
