I bought this because someone stole my Lithium powered Skil reciprocating saw. So, I was looking for a cheap saw and also thinking of maybe going with a 110 volt saw for more power and giving up on cordless. This saw is certainly cheap enough. The blades that came with it looked even less solid than the ones that came with my Skil. Sure enough one broke quickly and the other didn't break but kept bending with each cut. So I ordered some Milwaukee Sawzall blades from Amazon. And with the Axe (wood-cutting) blade, this saw cut just fine. In fact, it cut about 5 times faster and the blade never bent.
used three times for a total of 15 minutes, total. Burned up on a piece of 3/4 plywood. I didn't expect a Milwaulkee but it was a real disappointment.
