The new Milwaukee 6520-21 Orbital Sawzall Reciprocating Saw offers best in class performance in the most important respects including speed, durability, power and ergonomics. The variable speed trigger provides 0-2,800 strokes per minute with a 1-1/8 in. stroke length. The 6520-21 also comes equipped with orbital cutting action allowing the tool to cut faster than the competition. A gear protecting clutch allows the saw to withstand impacts lengthening the life of the tool. The 12 amp Milwaukee built motor offers enough power to handle even the most extreme cutting applications. Milwaukee Sawzalls and Drills are legendary. There are other good brands, but Milwaukee rules when it comes to reciprocating saws. You can't go wrong with any Milwaukee Sawzalls, from there $99 entry level to their top of the line Super Sawzalls. This model is in the middle. It has all the bells and whistles. This is my 4th Milwaukee Sawzall. I chose it for the 12amp motor, orbital action, keyless blade change, keyless shoe adjustment. Those are the main functions you should look for in a reciprocating saw. This tool is virtually industructable and impervious to daily abuse. It may be tool much tool for many, but I rather have a better tool then to be frustrated with a incompetant one. I use the tool daily for demolition and cutting everything from wood to rebar to metal C channels. This tool doesn't break a sweat. I still have my 12 year old Sawzall, it looks like it went through war, but still runs great. Anyone debating a better brand for than Milwaukee for reciprocating saws doesn't anything about tools. I am not biased toward brands, only towards the best. I have a Bosch Contractor Table Saw, Makita Sliding Miter Saw, IR Air tools, Makita and Dewalt Lithium tools. When you've been a general contractor for 18 years with a 8 person crew; you quickly learn who makes what best! One of my guys got my tools stolen. This was a no brainer replacement.

I was worred this saw would not have enough power because it was only 12 amps but I was wrong. This saw has a perfect balance of power and light wieght. I recomend this saw to all DIY people.
